Since I quit nicotine I can tolerate coffee ☕

So far anyway.

I’m able to have multiple cups a day without feeling “hungover” the following day like I used to.

I asked AI about nicotine and caffeine interaction:

As for the interaction between nicotine and caffeine, both are central nervous system (CNS) stimulants and can increase a person’s heart rate and produce stimulation and arousal45. Combining these two substances may enhance these effects4. Interestingly, nicotine doubles the rate at which the body depletes caffeine because it interferes with the body’s ability to absorb and utilize caffeine5. This is why smokers may need more coffee to get the same buzz as a non-smoker5. When a smoker quits and consumes the same amount of caffeine, they may feel much more jittery5.
