I hate these things, I havenāt had them since I was young but they used to be the bane of my momās existence when she was a Rental Property Manager. Iād work on getting a good deal on an exterminator.
One day I was in the shower, I turned on the water, and before the water came out an earwig dropped from the shower head, fell on the bathtub floor, then got immediately washed down the drain. I screamed so loud haha.
Right now there are tiny baby earwigs coming in under.the screen door at night. They walk right past one of my cats. Sometimes he plays with them or eats them. Sometimes he lets them continue on. He has rather dubious gatekeeping skills.
Iām a pest control worker⦠i would tell you how to do it yourself to get rid of them⦠but i feel like once you get invested in a sprayer and chemicals it wouldāve almost had been easier to just call an exterminator⦠either way Iād ask my landlord if he covers pest control⦠some do⦠some donāt⦠if you are interested in how to do it yourself I can tell you though⦠it would probably save you 60 or 70 bucks⦠depending on your area
Itās fairly easy to do⦠you would have to buy chemicals though⦠hopefully theyāre legal in your area
The chemicals are supposedly harmless to us humans and pets. It comes from a natural source⦠comes from a flower⦠and it attacks a nervous system in bugs that us humans donāt even have lol
