I found a silverfish in the kid’s room just now. I killed it, but omg so gross. I hope there’s not an infestation somewhere! OMG I’m freaking out. I grew up in a house with silverfish everywhere and they freak me out so much. Ew ew ew.

So I understand the concern.
Odds are good there is not just one lone silverfish chilling out,
There’s probs a few of them hiding somewhere.
Maybe you can find them?

We are. Which means I’ll have the perfect opportunity to go through every single thing we own to make sure I don’t bring them over with us.
It came out of a bag of clothes I got from my sister before she moved that I just hadn’t touched in a few months. I pulled out a shirt to put on Ridley and laid it on the changing table and then when I picked it up the silverfish was underneath. So I have a really good idea where to look, and also I’m holding out hope it really was a lone silverfish that got transported from her old place.
Ewewewew my skin is still crawling. OMG I’m so glad my meds are actually working right now. Haha could you imagine how much my hallucinations would take advantage of this disgust to torment me?! Ugh. Still ew, though.
Definitely not looking forward to going through that bag. As soon as the sun comes up I’ll take it out to the back porch, hopefully before it starts raining, and go through it.

Oh my god, those things make my skin crawl. And just saying crawl triggers me to memories of silverfish.

A gecko is a tiny lizzard only a few inches long. They love eating bugs!
some people get them if there are kids or pets in the house(poisons would be a no-no).
One used to clean up the ants in a bathroom at my brothers house. After the ants were gone he left.
He did not go out to buy him, he was wild and just showed up to live in the bathroom a while.

I used to own a big vinyl collection. Some of the records were pretty old. I think it was the covers, not the actual vinyl that the silverfish liked. But they showed up every once I a while for the whole time I insisted on keeping the vinyl. They’re gross, but harmless. Hope you can get rid of them. It does suck when bugs invade, regardless of what they are.
