nearly 4 years later and i’ve finished my play.
had a good friend help edit in the last bit.
it’s been fun
just finishing printing for binding at 2 am
feels like i let my kid go out for the first time
unsettling

got other things to do with organising theatres and getting the final bits of funding sorted out.
lots of work still to do
i will be mainly out of the picture though. focusing on being a producer although I do have a paid supportive producer.
lifts, monies, production meetings… occasionally drop by and give assistance to the questions of the cast.
purchaser of props etc. payer of people - the pro actors and the theatres / mini bus hire, subsistence for community actors.
decide what kind of help we will need for lighting with advice - technical / projector filming / website / advertising / press releases / posters and flyers, oversee design / write blurbs, generally talking about it and getting people in to see it. keeping my company website up to date.
