My doctor told me to quit the Zyprexa. Now I’m just on Seroquel. I was on 10 mg Zyprexa. Ever since I quit a week and a half ago I have been nauseous and my stomach has been upset. I’ve had diarrhea and vomited on a few occasions. Has anyone else experienced this after quitting Zyprexa, and if so, how long did it last? I’m tired now and I want it to end. 
I was on Zyprexa a short while, but I didn’t have the symptoms you describe when I came off it. While I was on Zyprexa I slept a lot and I craved sugar. Sometimes that seems better to me than the kind of manic like state I am in now. I might like sleeping eleven hours a day.

I just threw up again. 
I’m losing weight quickly. Already underweight again. When this nausea ends I’m going to start counting calories so I can return to a normal weight.

Sometimes it takes weeks to get off of a medication.

I did a switch from zyprexa to seroquel a few years back! I tapered off and onto the new med over 3 days.
I did find I had a lot more energy and felt like I’d had a few cups of coffee. But that subsidised.
The main thing was a change in side effects and not constantly eating, but being thirsty all the time.

i hate zyprexa i was on 10 mg but i started taking 5mg yesterday and i am getting switched to geodon this week. i quit zyprexa before and had a really bad headache and stomache pain for a whole week until i started feeling normal again.
