I am doing pretty good, I’m not able to eat what I could eat even 2 weeks ago so I’ve definitely shrunk my stomach some. I find it strange though that my physical ability to take in food doesn’t match up with my appetite, at least not yet. I’m starving a lot of the time. Sometimes I’m hungry but It’s too much bother to go eat cause I would have to clean and cut up veggies, and I know I would only be getting like 35 calories, lol.
I’m hungry most of the time but I just control it by not giving in to the urge.
I haven’t been eating much, about 500 calories a day for a few days because my throat is constricted and I can’t swallow. I hope I don’t have a nervous breakdown at the grocery store today. Any suggestions on soft foods.
as a matter of fact, yes. During the worst part of my swallowing difficulty some of the things I ate were Ramen, cinnamon applesauce, flavored oatmeal with a bit of half and half or whole milk, creamy soups like potato and split pea and toast to go with, I found that gummy bread was hard but if i toasted it I could eat it, I could also eat crackers, scrambled eggs (before I found out I was allergic), deli turkey, tuna salad and potato salad.
