Should social media sites like facebook and twitter

Have an age restriction on them. I don’t know how they would monitor it though.

I went out the other day to restuarant and these young kids probably 13 or so just sat on their phones looking at Facebook.

The younger generation has lost their way.

What the hell has that moron mark Zuckerberg done to this world ?

They do, 13 is the age to sign up. My daughter lied at 10 and signed up anyhow. Wasn’t impressed when I discovered it.

Yea I had facebook for like a week when I was 18.

I was just pissed at how people live such a fake life on it. I honestly think social media has ruined this world.

I honestly don’t have time for facebook. if I had an extra 3 hours in my day I would sign up to stay connected with friends going on’s. but I don’t know how my old friends with jobs and kids have time for it anyhow.

In my opinion someday facebook will disappear. In my country many of people are deleting their account for the problems you mentioned. But I don’t know the kids, they are uncritically using the technology.

Normal people do not close/delete their accounts. They just leave it there and go on for recreational purposes if they ever have time to.

Social media is a huge addiction…
its fuucking up the system.

People just live their lives on Facebook, no need to even go outside, unless u want a quick selfie to show off…

Famous people & celebrities have other people administering their Facebook, Twitter & Instagram accounts for the purpose of making their followers happy when they post something new.

I think my daughter started MSN Messenger when she was about 13

but I highly monitored it

she got a feed of a Star Wars clip that ended in total sexual content

I finally figured out how to contact the site

and gave them a piece of my mind about my young daughter getting that

they yelled at me then posted the whole conversation online

and came up on a Google search of me

I think also books should be monitored

2 billion + Facebook users and I don’t know how many of those are active accounts or inactive accounts.

2 Billion will be the Active accounts.but its only really people from the developed countries that have signed upto it go to places like Africa,South East Asia etc and i will think you will find that Facebook is not high on their priority list clean water and food is!

For me Facebook and Twitter aren’t a problem . Having said that I know that some people can be negatively affected by them.

Back to your original statement, normal people keep their Facebook accounts active which is why there are 2 billion accounts. Southeast Asia has clean water & food but I would assume the same cannot be said of certain areas of Africa.

You need to get on Instagram as well.

Facebook users may not be happier than people who deactivated their account.
