Happy or not happy, 2+ billion Facebook user accounts is a lot. I know Instagram makes me happy when the people I follow post something. The same can be somewhat said of Twitter.
If there are many of them, it means they are completely satisfied with it? And their mental health has not improved through facebook as it says and I think what normal is should be defined. Is it normal that they are not happy but don’t quit facebook…? Or normal people do quit what it’s bad …?
I’m quite sure there are many Facebook users that are not satisfied with it. Mind you that the majority of normal people do not have mental health issues as we schizophrenics do. If a user is not happy, Facebook can suggest taking a break instead of deactivation and continue using the account at a later date. Normal people quit, normal people sign on.
Yeah you’re right taking a break could be one way rather than deactivation. But I heard that the co-founder of facebbok, not Zuckerberg, admitted that they used the most fragile weeknesses of human’s mind when developing facebook. That is why I’m not really fond of facebook.
Facebook was first used at Harvard University as a social platform for students and grew to other University campuses. I don’t see how your claim of using the most fragile weaknesses of the human mind is valid.
Have you ever been a University student and realize how students with technology nowadays interact?
I have a master degree in Psychology. And I will do ph.d onward. I don’t know much about technology stuff but I do know how to interact with other students. It is easy to find the news that I mentioned if you have a little try. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not spreading fake news.
Sure you have a degree in psychology. PhD, right…
Oh yeah definitely soon
Happier than ever don’t deactivate delete for good live life!
"The reason most social media services use an age limit of 13 or over is in part because of a law in the USA. The COPPA law or Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act states that any organisations or people operating online services (including social media services) are not allowed to collect the personal information of anyone under the age of 13 without parental permission.
To avoid the necessity of obtaining parental permission for any user under the age of 13, most services have instead chosen to place an age restriction of 13 to their services. They write this rule into their Terms and Conditions – which users must agree to when they initially sign up and some services may ask users to declare their age during sign up."
Former Exec of FAKEBOOK an Asian Amercian Guy sorry can’t remember is name quit because he couldn’t tolerate the manipulation, brainwashing of the users on it.He has spoke about several times on US TV, in forums, lectures etc.You can find all this on Youtube!"
But you are not getting my point are you the population of the world is NOT 2 Billion so i guess the majority is right then!
I don’t understand what you are trying to say. Come again…
What iam trying to say is the majority of the world is not on/interested in Social Media they have higher priorties etc
I used to know many of these types of people i don’t give them the time of day now tbh!
The minimum age for Facebook is 13
I totally agree. Social Media is another method of communicating information, pictures, videos, etc… But 2 billion of of the 7 billion human beings on this planet is quite a portion of the general population as a whole.
Lady Gaga thinks social media is the “toilet of the internet”, as she slammed sites like Twitter
It’s crappy and everybody knows it. But it’s not all that bad…I enjoy seeing pretty places all around the world, even if I can’t afford to go there…It also helped me talking to people that I couldn’t talk to if it were 30 years ago.
I also like to see analog pics(here is popular) and vintage stuff…You need a filter, cuz it’s mostly crap…
