Should I go on Vacation?

My father wants to rent a house on the beach for September.
It’s for a week.
It’s a 2 hour drive from my house.

I’m afraid that I’ll go nuts once I’m there.
I haven’t been on vacation for years!

I will be with my family and will be able to cook my own food there.
I’ll make sure to bring extra meds.
I kind of want to go but am apprehensive and really don’t know what to expect.

Should I give it a try?
I haven’t seen the Ocean in years!

It’s safer than going on a cruise or flying to the Caribbean.

If you’ll be with your family and have meds, then I’d go for it !

Yes! That is what I thought when I read your titled. I think you be sorry if you didn’t go. If you felt like you needed to get away from your family for a little bit. Walk down the beach.

I think it would be really good for you to go! Everyone needs a break and it will be nice to be near the ocean.

I definitely think you should go @Wave. You’ll probably enjoy the change in environment. Also, since its only a 2 hr drive away, you can always go back home if you’re not enjoying it.

In fact, it sounds like a perfect vacation opportunity!

Vacations are amazing, but they make my symptoms flare up because of the break in routine. You should definitely go, but make a plan for how to deal with symptoms when you’re there. For example, I need to set an alarm so I wake up at the same time every day, and I need to build some kind of routine or structure into my day. I also bring along my puzzle games, because they help me to relax.

I can’t remember my last vacation. I would jump at the chance. I used to live near the beach, and now I’m in the mountains. Sometimes I daydream about walking on the beach and looking for pretty rocks and shells. It’s very relaxing.
I hope you’ll go and have a wonderful time.

its not too far away… if it becomes too much it wouldn’t be too hard to just go on home… the beach at night under the moon with all the stars is beautiful… I think you should atleast give it a go…

Looks like I might not be going to the Beach after all.
Might travel an hour away to the Mountains with my family.
We might be spending a couple of days at a Casino/ Resort.

It might be a bit too fast paced for me but I’ll spend a lot of time in the room relaxing.

I might spend some time with the Slot Machines.

I hope that I can manage.

Don’t really know if a Casino Resort is the ideal place for me.

At least the drive will be much shorter and I’ll be only spending a couple of days there.

A change of scenery always does my head good. Even if it’s just a day away, it makes my eyes see a different perspective, which helps once I get home.

Otherwise, too much time home gives me tunnel vision.

A casino is pretty fast paced, but I like to play maybe 20 bucks on slots but that’s all-if that.

Sometimes I like to just people watch, or shop in their gift shops, eat at their restaurants, or just hang out in the room if overwhelmed.

Go if you have a chance, but take it easy so it remains fun.
