I stretch and lift a lot at work, probably to much for my age and health, so not been doing any Yoga. I do have Yoga pants, nice and baggy so they don’t resist

If you have the mental ability to do it then go for it.
I agree with @everhopeful. If you have the ability and desire, go for it!
It’s my understanding that Yoga in the west tends to be more secularized. That’s not a bad thing though. It just depends what you want to get out of it .

Yeah I’d say go for it. I want some more flexibility at 48 so I might join a class myself! I think it’s only going to help you and I’m really big on exercise of all forms at the moment. Your benefits to your mind are also pretty bloody good!
If it’s something you want to do, go for it. Start at beginners level and go from there
Yes I agree yoga is a form of meditation in itself.

I would say…yes! It’s very good for your body and mind. And it’s very good for people with mental illness. It makes you relaxed and have more focus.
