Should I Do Yoga?

They want me to do Yoga, stetching would be good for my Arthritis.

I stretch and lift a lot at work, probably to much for my age and health, so not been doing any Yoga. I do have Yoga pants, nice and baggy so they don’t resist

I agree with @everhopeful. If you have the ability and desire, go for it!

It’s my understanding that Yoga in the west tends to be more secularized. That’s not a bad thing though. It just depends what you want to get out of it :slight_smile: .

Because my joints are fusing together, the muscles are overworked and need stretching

Oh I see. In that case Yoga could very well be helpful. As long as your dr. okays it.

I entertain the idea of doing Yoga also at times.

I don’t do yoga but I know it’s really really good for you so I think you should do it

Yeah I’d say go for it. I want some more flexibility at 48 so I might join a class myself! I think it’s only going to help you and I’m really big on exercise of all forms at the moment. Your benefits to your mind are also pretty bloody good!

If it’s something you want to do, go for it. Start at beginners level and go from there :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes I agree yoga is a form of meditation in itself.

I would say…yes! It’s very good for your body and mind. And it’s very good for people with mental illness. It makes you relaxed and have more focus.

I want to. Pigeon pose is good for post traumatic stress disorder “breathing in peace, releasing stress”
