Should I do it, smoke tobacco

When I had jury duty I was surprised to see so many people using the e cig. I personally just go cold turkey without nicotine. This is my third day without tobacco and I barely have any craving to smoke. It will start to hit me after the first week is complete, which is what this guy is experiencing. Once it gets to be 2 weeks, things can get intense.

Smoking is GROSS don’t even try it!!! And expensive.

I cant guarantee its 100% safe, but you could try snus. Its an unfermented kind of liptobacco. I got free of the smokes by using snus. Most researchers say its 90% less harmfull than sigarettes. Its also better than chewing tobacco, wich is fermented and has more bad stuff in them. The downside thoug, is that its wery addictive, you get more nicotine than by smoking…

Don’t smoke man. ā– ā– ā– ā–  that ā– ā– ā– ā–

I am proud of myself, I have not smoked tobacco and I have not needed any nicotine gum. I must continue on this path.

Yea, verily. Look into that meditation stuff. It’s big time for all kinds of professional addiction treatment now.

I’m thinking of taking up vaping, something that feeds nicotine. Know I shouldn’t, but I want to. Been over 23 years since I quit smoking and I still miss it every day.

Uhh, well, how long have you been sober?

Feb 15, 1992. Same day I quit drugs and smoking. Quit smoking by accident - was flat ass broke and homeless at the time. If I’d had $$$, I would have dropped it on Bennies. By the time I had $$$ again, most of the urge had passed. Still have some left and it taps me on the shoulder every so often.

That and I’m an electronics nerd. I want to try one of these gizmos. Having a stressful month financially, so that’s when these urges pop up.

I’ve limited my pipe smoking to an intermittent 2x per month at most, using a herbal substitute for tobacco. It has no nicotine or anything that can cause cancer.

There IS a God, ya know. It’s just not the one The Authorities told us it was.

Good. Orderly. Direction.

I’m just one of those people who learns by trying the wrong thing first.

Took the $$$ I wanted to spend on a good ePipe and bought this instead:

The mute button on my Mackie mixer is tiny and I occasionally miss it while DJing. Having this on the floor will make it easier to PTT my mic when needed. Also frees up my hands for the mixer. ALSO got rid of the discretionary funds I had set aside and now I won’t spend them on something that hurts me.

Having schiz, I would stop smoking to improve symptoms and you’ll end up having a healthier body for pretty much anything physical.

I used to smoke on occassion when I was younger and couldn’t figure out why people love these things other than for the small relaxation properties.

2 weeks is good progress and if you did end up hitting the tobbacco, aim for longer next time. Once you start recovering, trust me, you’ll start to feel a little fresher.

I have not smoked any tobacco in close to four weeks, I think I am able to kick that habit, I do not need tobacco. I am feeling great without tobacco.

Everybody around me is smoking. My dad, brother, all my friends and they smoke everwhere, in coffee shops, streets, restaurants. I’m getting tempted but I’m forcing myself to resist. Cigarettes are really cheap over here :smoking:

Poor you! Cheap cigarettes and expensive alcohol!

Hope you feel better soon.
