Should I buy a new cellphone?

My current cellphone is Xiaomi Redmi 9 130$ from 2020 Android 13, I have a 128gb sdcard. Battery is still very good 5020 mah and everything works good. The phone I want to get is 220$ Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro its almost as fast as the Galaxy S23 Ultra like 8-10℅ slower but much much cheaper.

I have a OnePlus 8 and I’m satisfied with it. I’ll keep it until it breaks down.

No need to buy a new one if your current one is still working.

I can’t say if you should get a new phone or not, but I’m curious as to how the camera on the Xiaomi compares to the Samsung (which is my current phone).

It doesn’t have a memory card slot.

I am sure Samsung is better but the one I am getting is midrange not Xiaomi top ones which are more expensive and have better camera. Tbh I don’t use my camera much other than video calls and taking food pics.

It’s a good phone, at least for me. I don’t use heavy apps or gaming on my phone so I don’t need the latest.

Why I like OnePlus is the quick charge function. I get 80% battery charge in 20 minutes.

Yes I know but its 256gb so its enough. My current Redmi 9 has 64gb internal and 128gb samsing sdcard. I will transfer the files. The Poco X6 Pro has 3.5mm AUX jack so its nice as I hate converters.

Yes its good but expensive for the Pro I like big phones, 1400$C for the 8 Pro. My friend has the 6 Pro he is happy with it.

My three reasons for owning the phone are:

  1. Camera
  2. Music
  3. Android Auto

It annoys the hell out of me whenever someone expects me to answer a call or respond to a text on it. That’s not what I bought it for.

Get multiple cheap phones with disposable sim cards. If you have the money for constant replacements, that is.

Every time you do not like the caller, slowly place the phone on the ground in front of your vehicle’s tire and disconnect the caller by going into forward drive. If you still hear them, go back into reverse.

I kinda like that crackle and pop of cheapishly produced Chinese products.

For your personal contacts, setup a different personal number for voicemail use, and also utilize email.

I find that funny lol

I love my free Obama phone :slightly_smiling_face:
Phones are easy to drop, break n steal and also lose them
So I’m not buying some crazy arse 1,000+ expensive phone
I don’t need all the winger dingers bells n whistles anyway :sunglasses:
