Samsung S10. Keep getting offered a “free upgrade” but im not paying 3x the ruddy price over 24 months. Its still pristine anyway, with the original plastic over the screen in a Military grade phone case. The battterys still all good as well.
I think people just wanna upgrade for the sake of it for bragging rights. If it aint broken dont fix it

In my case my phones battery life is pretty bad now and it has issues with charging atm where it needs to lie down. I had a go at cleaning the port but I couldnt fix it entirely.
If I could replace the battery I wouldn’t upgrade.

I have a Xiaomi Redmi 9. Next time I will likely buy another Xiaomi unless I can buy the Pixel 7 for a very good deal. I regretted not getting the Pixel 6 new from my network provider when it was on discount for 499$Canadian. Regular price is 799$ here.

I have a galaxy 21. The new one. I got offered momey to trade in my iphone. Its still expensive AF. My cell phone bill is way to much and i regret paying for it

Same— it’s a great phone.
Been an Android user since 2006, and just made my first foray into the world of Apple phones in 2021.
Ended up purchasing the Apple Watch as a companion piece (most likely a very manic buy 
).
Gotta say though, when I went to the Apple Store to pick up said watch, I instantly got a very cultish vibe.
Minimalist decor and white everywhere, and hoards of people were literally clamoring around the display products.
Asked myself, “…Is this a cult?” on more than one occasion.
Probs the SZ, but I was pretty freaked out nonetheless .

Lol yea I agree m8. When I was younger I got a "free’ upgrade (this was before I knew about scummy contracts and all). I signed on to get the phone and had to cancel my plan soon after due to being broke. They charged me like 1000 in the end… So much for free lol.
Lesson learned: read the fine print

I had cheap android phones for a while, but they used to break all the time
My first iPhone was the 6s, and it only had 32gb storage and the battery degraded really quickly
It wasn’t a good experience at all, but I think the tech has got to a good level now
I have had one for 4 years nearly now, and I use it every day.

I made the order and cancelled it afterwards.
I replaced the Watch strap of my omega watch instead.
I think I prefer old school.
