Seroquel "hangover"?

I don’t take Seroquel/quetiapine regularly anymore, only as needed, which is more and more rarely.

I’ve noticed the next day I have a headache, I have a dry mouth, and I feel a bit sluggish.
Almost like a hangover.
Could this really be the seroquel?

I only take 25mg.
How long does it take to leave the system? Is there a way to speed it up?

You should try melatonin.

It helps me sleep without all of the crap from seroquel.

I tried some melatonin product, but it made me wake up at sunrise

I take seroquel 25mg daily at bedtime, It did not give me “hangovers” like what you described. Maybe everybody reacts to it differently.

I only started noticing it after I stopped taking it regularly. Now I take it maybe once a month. Perhaps one builds a tolerance to it over time if taken regularly?
I used to take 50mg before bed each night.

I agree with your guess. Probably you should give up Seroquel as it has caused serious side effects to you.

What? No, aside from the slight feeling of having a hangover, it doesn’t really do much.
And if I’m having psychotic symptoms, which often leads me to not be able to sleep, seroquel is the only tihng that helps

I do 300 at night - and always have a slight hangover. But strangley i got used to it. Large cup of coffee sorts it in ten minutes.

Seroquel is truly my wonder drug. I love the stuff lol.

25mg is a really low dosage.
