Seriously considering going on Rexulti

I like how Risperidone is keeping me out of the Psych Hospital but Man I’m paying a big price for it.

On Risperidone my Negative Symptoms are really bad.
All I do is lounge about the House and sleep on the couch all day long.

My sexual functioning took a big hit and I’m experiencing retrograde ejaculation again.

I just don’t feel like going anywhere, my motivation is down the toilet.

I’ve tried a whole lot of different Antipsychotics with not much success but I am curious about trying Rexulti.

I really don’t know if my psychiatrist will go for it.

But it’s worth a shot.

Good luck! I hope your psych is on board. Dealing with negative symptoms and side effects is the pits. Hopefully the Rexulti will be better.

If you could tolerate abilify for 12 years, you could be in with a shot with rexulti.

I’m willing to try Rexulti but I’m worried it will be just like Abilify. I’m on risperidone consta and my negatives are worse… racing heart, getting fatter by the minute. But at least I have feelings on Risperidone Consta, as opposed to Abilify where I was an emotionless Zombie. I can enjoy music and games and sex on risperidone consta, I couldn’t do that on aSHITify… ooops I mean Abilify.

Rexulti may be a good choice, for it’s not only an anti-psychotic but an add-on medication for depression.
