Playing the blame game won’t rid anyone of schizophrenia.
I once met a man who was so sure someone had made him schizophrenic on purpose that he refused all offers to get help managing his symptoms, and insisted on finding the culprit instead.

I used to blame myself, these days I blame genetics and random faults in early development.
Sure, drugs might have made it worse. But then again, there are tons of people who take drugs without becoming scizophrenic. I’m sure it must have been in my genetics to begin with.

I’m not hoping to be cured, because I don’t think anything can fix brain damage and faults in development out of the blue, but I’m constantly looking for ways to better manage my symptoms.
