I am epileptic I have gotten seizures many times. They are not grand mal but still pretty scary and sometimes after having one my brain goes wacky. I had to stop doing some activities and can’t even smell nicotine now or else it will make me feel sick.

I have seizure-like episodes. One neurologist said I have real seizures, but then a different neurologist said I don’t, calling them pseudoseizures.

I have had seizures, one where i hallucinated and the other where i lost consciousness, but testing like brainscans have been inconclusive.
I would get manic symptons, paranoia and blackouts sometimes because of the seizures. Are you on anticonvulsants?
No they wont treat my seizures becsuse my ekg and catscan have been normal and they havent recurred knock on wood

I have had about six months of seizures in 2019. I joke that I was flipping around like a flounder. Not fun though, I was on antiepliptic medications for a long time.
@whirling-leaves What are your auras like?
I’m on clozapine and they can’t increase the dose because of the risk of seizures but I’ve never had seizures

They do a plasma test to see the levels but they are now putting me on lamatrgine anti seizure medication
Hmm. I was never on a dose that high. I think i capped at 200mg. Blood testing aside i never had to get seizures addressed or medicated.
Im sorry you have to go through that.
I had a weird experience before my psychotic break where my eyes rolled to the back of my head and my eyelids fluttered.
I dunno if this was a seizure, but I was unable to move or “snap out of it” for around 10 minutes.
Strange times.
