Seem to have got my acute anxiety coping strategies in order

Last night and remaining today I had bad anxiety. Here are my methods of alleviating it are-

  • close the curtains
  • put on ambient music
  • deep breathing
  • take 2mg of flupentixol if really bad

These methods have gotten my through a bad few hours

My therapist told me that locking your fingers behind your head and breathing deeply helps. She also said tapping your thumb to each finger individually back and forth can help distract you from your thoughts.
