He’s gonna diagnose me I got drug induced phsycosis but it’s been a year and 2 months so I might have schizophrenia he’s changing my med due to side effects too will I lose progress and they get bad again? Cus I can’t be having that I won’t be around… My med now is risperdone and they don’t talk unless I think of them and they just copy my words sometimes like 3-4 times a week they get really bad and talk talk talk unless I sleep it resets do u think I should change med?? My previous doctor said it’s too risky

If you change meds you will probably go through a short period where things get worse, but then things will get better again. I’m going through that right now. ■■■■■■■ demons.

I think I got enlarged breasts it don’t look like it I got breast discharge erectile dysfunction and can’t come basically and it’s not doing wonders for me really been on it a year plus voices might go away Asap on the new med

As far as I know Haldol doesn’t. It’s an older med and doesn’t take much. I use to take it, just enough to quite the voices.

I haven’t had much weight gain on rexulti, and none of the sexual side effects. For me it has been a great change from the more sedating drugs like risperdal and seroquel.

I’m on risperidone and about to change because it’s making me lactate. I’m so worried about the changeover, especially with Christmas coming up. Looks like we’ll be switching meds at the same time. Good luck with your changeover.

I am currently on Risperidone and have the desire to switch meds but I doubt that my psychiatrist will be on board with this.
Every time I switch to another med it doesn’t work out and I end up going back on Risperidone.
Risperidone is probably the best choice for me.
Who am I kidding …
I’ve never experienced side effects from Abilify, which is similar to the Rexulti that @anon68237654 mentioned. Seroquel and Zyprexa both caused me terrible akathisia. I know I was tried on Risperdal at one time and it caused an intolerable side effect; I just don’t remember what that side effect was, wasn’t on it long at all. I didn’t care for Latuda, either.
