Seeing my psychiatrist tomorrow…

I’m going to ask about rexulti. Hopefully it works and doesn’t give me restlessness like abilify, and zyprexa did.

I’ve tried seroquel, haldol, vraylar after my persecutory voices started. The only thing that helped with that was invega, which also helped with a delusion that I didn’t know was a delusion until it was gone. My voices haven’t really even begun to come back yet compared to what they usually are, before invega.

What have you tried? What worked and what didn’t?

Invega works for me but I have bad insomnia.

The only thing that worked for me was clozapine. Had to stop it due to QTc-prolongation. Now I’m on Zyprexa but only until Cobenfy is available. The drug rep thinks maybe after the new year. I’m still hearing voices and having grandiose beliefs and sleeping 3-4 hours each night, but I’m not suicidal anymore. I think they’re going to put me back in the hospital next Monday when i see the pdoc because I’ve stopped eating again. Idk. I’m not well…

Why did you stop eating? I’m sorry you’re not doing well, I hope things improve for you and that Cobenfy works good for you.

What are the side effects of invaga? I’m thinking of complaining to my p-doc because my positives are still kinda strong. I’ve heard a lot of people talk about invaga

I get paranoid that there are people trying to poison me.

I was on invega injections, it worked really good for my voices, delusions and even my visual hallucinations, but it made me suicidal and caused lack of motivation, making me feel like an empty being with out emotions, especially happiness. Everyone is different though.

That’s really bad.I’m sorry you have to deal with that, have you tried making your own food fresh, like a salad or maybe eggs?

Yea…I think I will steer clear of this one. My latuda isn’t working for my positives but I do have energy and motivation. When I was on zyprexa I was really miserable and dead inside. I might have to just make due with what I have

I’m sorry @WhiteRaven
What happened?
I thought that Zyprexa was working for you?

Latuda gives me nightmares. What else have you tried?

Zyprexa, Seroquel , geodon and ability. Latuda has been the best Soo far as far as quality of life but I think my environment plays a bigger roll in that. I also have horrible nightmares on latuda but I’m use to it now and it’s a good trade off for feeling like I’m not totally dead inside I guess… I might just stick with my current med or talk to my p-doc.

If you have some success with a new med you should post about it tho man. Hope we both find a better solution
