When I was psychotic, it was exhausting.
I told my Doc it was like doing a Cryptic Crossword all day long and never getting the answers right. Then I’d crash into bed…wake up and do it all over again, for weeks on end.
I only got better when the meds made me realize I wasn’t a world-wide ‘spectacle’…that I was just Joe Blow going about my daily business.
And then finally…relief!

It definitely sucks up your energy my psychiatrist calls it avolition. Personally I can’t even find energy to think sometimes or even talk.

do what you can when you can, if its not working try changing something, hope this helps 
Sometimes I wonder if lack of physical energy and lack of motivation are closely linked with this disease so if lack of motivation causes lack of energy
I asked medical people if I was tired because of schizophrenia or because of the treatment I take for schizophrenia.
Everyone said, “I don’t know.”
Finally, one psychologist admitted to me, “Well you take enough medication to sedate a horse.”
