My current favorite distraction is looking for houses to buy. lol I never wanted a house because, honestly, the cost of emergencies like appliances breaking and structural damage and whatever terrifies me. I like having a maintenance person that comes and fixes everything for me. But, I’d really like more space. And where we’re looking to move to, if we stay in our price range, our mortgage plus insurance costs per month are estimated at more than half of what we pay in rent and insurance now. And close to half of what most (not trashy) apartments costs there. So it just makes more sense and I’ve fallen off the deep end dreaming and looking at houses. But I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing. I don’t know anything about buying a house, so I’m just looking at pretty pictures. :joy:

Okay. The Olanzapine is kicking in. So two more hits off the Watermelon Juul and then time to shut this screen off. Hope y’all have a good night. Watch out for The Babadook…dook…dook…dook.

We ended up with the seller’s of our house paying for the first year of a home warranty, so if something broke we called HSA and they sent their contracted people out, we paid 75 bucks and everything else was covered. We had to get a brand new hot water heater, furnace, and some sewer rotor rooting done that flooded basement that first year. We’ve kept it now, we’re on year 6, pay 45 bucks a month, still just the 75 bucks to have problem fixed when it breaks. Been a lifesaver cause our house was built in.1882. Yeah, that 75 bucks is hard to come up with cause it’s due at time of service, but still cheaper than the probably 10k or more we’ve had done since buying in.2014. So when you do decide to buy, keep that in mind! It’s worth every penny.

I didn’t even know that was a thing! That’s awesome. Thank you. I’ll look into it.

I think I’m the only one of my friends that fell asleep during Badabook, lol. Tried 3 times to watch it. Same with IT remake, and I’m terrified of clowns. I feel like I’m missing something. Gotta say Eli on Netflix is good though.

We didn’t either! We signed all the paperwork, as we go to leave they handed us this folder of paperwork and said this is to help you and to make sure you have a good first year for the kids (they were 3rd, 2nd, and 1st graders at that time) they were older sellers, we were really touched.
