I think I 'd say something here. You may not have noticed that I had never participated in such kind of long threads before. Iām thinking about my supper now. My husband got invited to a dinner party by one of his PhD students. So Iāll be alone this evening. I was thinking about going to a MacDonald for a meal.

Go for it.
I eat at McDonaldās maybe twice a month and I usually get;
1 McDouble and a Jr Chicken.
I combine them both into one sandwich, kinda like a Big Mac.
And I get 2 apples and a large diet coke.
Really satisfying and good.

What the heck is a Junior Chicken?
I usually get nuggetsā¦ not a huge fan of McDonaldās.

Hah nah man. Itās just called a chicken sandwich (there is also the spicy chicken sandwich variation) here. It is on the value menu and one of my dadās favorites. I prefer the value menu Cheeseburgers. 
I think it might not be called a Junior Chicken sandwich here for two reasons,
A. There is another fast food restaurant called Carlās Jr. that have items like junior bacon cheeseburgerā¦ or is that Wendyās?
B. You know Muricansā¦ with the SUVās, Pickup Trucks, and other vehicles that might not fit on some roads in Englandā¦ itās all about that Deluxe Chicken Sandwich here. If it was called the Junior Chicken sandwich here, it would not sell as much.
There really is a Deluxe Chicken Sandwichā¦ and yesā¦ it is amazing.

Iām actually not aware of a chicken sandwich at Mcdonaldās at all. At least not in Virginia where I lived most of my life. They had chicken selects which were like chicken fingers and also nuggets but thatās all Iām familiar with. Wendyās was the place to go for a spicy chicken sandwich.

Good morning, yāall. I slept well, about to go shower, shave, brush my teeth and put on a nice dress shirt and tie. My sister will be picking me up around 8, to go to our cousinās funeral. Itās about a three-hour drive each way; this is going to be a long day.

I wish I lived in America, housing is so cheap over there. My house cost Ā£180,000 and its a tiny 2 bedroom affordable housing build. I just tried to work out how much that would cost if it was in the UK, and I think it would be about $420,000.

Look at housing prices in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Itās such a ā ā ā ā town you can get huge houses for like $500.
Where I live pretty much everything is $400,000+ for a small 2 bed 1 bath. Thatās why weāre thinking of moving. Even my rent is beginning to be unaffordable since it increases 10% (the legal limit without having to pay relocation costs) every year. But where weāre wanting to move to you can get a decent 3 bed 1-2 bath for about $150,000.

Itās midday Iām going to go to sleep soon to get thru this day. I used to wonder if Iām kind of exaggerating my depression but it must b serious if this is wat I do to get thru the day
