I lifted weights for 10 minute and then went on the treadmill for 10 and 1/2 minutes. First time in months ive exercised. I didnt do it for very long but its better than nothing right?

@DNAsaur - I found the book helpful. It was just hard to read in the beginning because I recognized myself and my experiences in the text and felt sad or triggered at times. I needed to work with my therapist on emotional regulation. I’m still working on it.
I know the book is well-regarded and it came highly recommended by my therapist.

Oh ok. I saw myself in some things also. Im just practising eckhart tolle’s being in the present moment today. Its kind of similar because he advises to feel the emotions but do not judge or think about them, kind of like ‘the noticing brain’ in the trauma book. Wishing you all the best for your recovery.
