Saw new dr frustrated as I had to explain things over, got panic attack and dr had to calm me and reassure me told him every thing I could remember told him I was suicidal yesterday but didn’t show wrist just a couple pink marks. Dr just increased my haloperidol to 5mg and citalopram to 40mg and didn’t mention hospital for which I was relieved. Things at home not changed though although hope hubby doesn’t offload business stress onto me I’m still fragile. See dr again next month but have to fetch meds two weeks time. Don’t know what to feel disappointed or relieved but I’m must just wait for higher meds to help hope so

Did you tell him about your violent thoughts? I know its embarrassing and I was so but its serious. Anyways hopefully the dose increase works.

My wrist is itching from yesterday. I didn’t show him my wrist but I did tell him of the violent thoughts and that I was suicidal yesterday.
I’m just confused if I hear voices because I told the pdoc that Alien is not audible but very much like voice with sentences, gender, tone etc but it’s more like thoughts. When I was first getting them I called them “thought voices”
So would it be true that I still have voices? Because it was put on a lot of my files. But I told the pdocs over and over that it was not audible ones but they still wrote it as “hallucinations”

Internal voices are the voices of other people. Thoughts are in your own voice but can seem foreign. That’s at least how I understand it.

My understanding is an internal voice is a hallucination when you feel it is its own entity such as an alien.
An intrusive thought is images or thoughts that are unwanted.

IDK. I would think that the belief that a thought is being put there by another being with no auditory component would be “thought insertion”, which is a delusion, not a hallucination.
I’m not a psychiatrist by any means but I’m pretty sure that is correct.
Edit: Seems closer to intrusive thoughts with a delusionary component as to where they come from, IMO. Again, not a psychiatrist.
