Wow, looked at my 2015 journal and saw that I was actually taking Risperdal at 1.5 mg!
I was on 2mg of Risperdal for a while, I think for more than 4 years and did fine.
I’m going to talk to my doctor to see if she’ll lower my dose slowly till I hit the 2mg mark.
This is a better solution than switching AP’s.
Hope it works for you, I am really on the minimum dose at 4mg, I have paranoia and delusions at 3mg.
What dose were you on when you were hospitalized ?
I went to the psych hospital because my doctor switched me to a very low dose of Vraylar, then when I became unstable I was in the process of reintroducing back on to the risperidone, but at this point I was bonkers and not taking the risperidone on a regular basis.
I don’t think I was taking it everyday.
1mg here and there.
Maybe I can stay at the 3mg dose for a while and see what happens next.

Yeah I’ll see how it goes at 3mg.
Hopefully my pdoc will be on board with this.
