Well Risperdal has completely killed my sex drive but I feel good. Is there bad health effects from no sex drive?
I’m on Risperdal and still have a muted libido but suffer from ED issues.

My sex drive is non existent. The Venlafaxine is mostly to blame, but I imagine Clozapine and Ziprasidone doesn’t help. I’m not worries about it. Thankfully my partner takes Escitalopram which reduces his libido, so he doesn’t complain about lack of intimacy.I

Im on a low dose of risperidone injections, 25ml, and it hasent really killed my libido just that i have delayed ejaculation now.
Im hoping the doc lowers my injections to 12.5 the next time i see him, i will ask thats for sure. I do not have dry orgasms either anymore.

I have normal sexual functioning on risperidone 2mg. Just no libido. Doesn’t bother me tbh.

I’ve always had a controlled sex drive. No really I even decided the numbers of days of the week I was suppose to do it.

I also have no sex drive due to my meds. I like it. I can think about other things besides women. Plus I’m over 50 and I think my testosterone is low. I really don’t care.

Not that I know of, no. Plenty of people in the past have lived celebate lives without ill effect and there are asexual people out there who naturally have no libido and live happy healthy lives.
It was always a relief to me when a med took my sex drive away. I have a very strong overpowering one that often triggers my symptoms.

i take 3mg risperidone and i function normally sexually. except i dont get aroused as fast or easily as i used to, but i think that’s more about getting older. i’m 37

I think I have low testosterone too, I had an accident at 3y.o. where I lost a testicle and damaged the other one.
I have very low libido and am non orgasmic on Risperdal Consta. Before Risperdal I was hypersexual.

I feel like 
now. I feel tired and exhausted. I thought my libido was completely gone from Risperdal but it came back after 1.5 months. I don’t know if I will be able to do it again in a month or two.
I read it reduces dopamine which explains everything.
With Risperdal, there is no sex drive.
