You always talk about the scar on your neck. So that messed up your brain if it was an apparent suicide attempt? You also say the meds gave you a lobotomy. Not sure what happened to you. I hope you rewire your brain for the best.

Rewiring your brain? Your being treated by a mad man.

Yes, it’s possible to a certain extent. It takes practice…a lot of practice and determination. I’ve taken courses on learning and remember this. It takes time though. You would think schizophrenics could recover though and get better with time. I’m not sure though. Seems like ive gotten better after 6 or 7 years. I believe the first 10 years are the hardest.

My personal story: I failed geometry in high school and the second time I took it I got a c. I dropped out of precalculus in high school because it was too hard and I was scared. I was called stupid a lot and lazy.

I then started community college after and was in a better environment and thrived. I studied, I took it seriously, and had less depression. I took all their math classes and got all As.

I struggled with social skills and had no friends growing up. I did hundreds of hours of community service at community college and my self esteem went up and I met some smart, amazing people.

I ended up majoring in mathematics and learned a lot and learned about hard work, pushing myself, and doing things and trying things that seemed out of my reach or impossible.

I went from intermediate algebra to taking upper division math that used graduate school textbooks at a top 5 math department in the country…

I did drop out but I ended up going to my dream school. My family and I are proud. So yes, you can learn and change your brain.

My dissociation was indicative of brain damage from an unknown substance 8 years ago. I tried all sorts of supplements and healed my vision and brain.

i always thought i’d rewire my brain by resisting the craze and putting something better in after. it would then go to the better thing naturally. its working but i wouldn’t call it a rewire because it took so long and its a learning process.

There are a few free courses on udemy and coursera about this, ptsd, addiction … etc.
