A study in Ontario found that schizophrenia cases linked to cannabis use disorder have more than doubled since cannabis legalization.
Hospital visits for cannabis-related issues spiked by 270%, with young men being the most vulnerable.

there was a caveat…
“The authors highlight that the study does not settle ongoing debates about whether or not heavy cannabis use can cause schizophrenia. Nevertheless, the authors note that heavy cannabis use does worsen symptoms and the prognosis for those living with schizophrenia and caution about the trends observed in the study.”

I believe I got schizophrenia from pot. I also may have tried salvia. I regret trying salvia, but not pot. I don’t think I was a heavy user at all. The doctor who diagnosed me with paranoid schizophrenia years back said I would have gotten schizophrenia anyways later in life. I wish I could turn back the clock and get schizophrenia later on in life.
I’m in the process of healing and recovery.

I think I saw that schizophrenia cases are up 3x because of this. Profit over humanity I guess. Maybe if there’s enough of us the treatments will get better.

They legalized cannabis without the proper research to back it up, and that’s kind of a problem— definitely a “profits over people” type of situation.
