This renaming schizophrenia comes up a lot. so before @77nick77 comes on, I am going to steal his thunder and mumble something about Prince…and the illness formerly known as schizophrenia.
Officially it goes: If we’re going to rename it then I think we should call it Prince because whatever we call it, in everybody’s mind it will still be the illness formerly known as schizophrenia.

We should rename the term ‘Schizophrenia’ and call it 'Schizo-Doodly-Bop’!
It has a more friendly and wholesome ring to it. 
i dont think renaming it would make any kinda difference. the only thing that would is consolidating some labels and making them spectrums and idk how that would work
I think even if you call it ABC123 people will be like “he’s so ABC” you know what I mean
