Hmm…so you also believed that? Sorry. Im happy to hear you changed and you helped your mother and she saw it. Though it is horrible she died of cancer, you must be grateful and proud about the change that came between you two?

We always used to fight,but she never understood my illness.That is one thing I could never fully make her understand.She just saw me suffering,but never read anything about illness.I tried to explain,but that was in vain.Until the end she was in denial.
Sorry. I think it is a hard thing to deal with for both family and the person themselves. It is difficult to understand. It would have been good if she read about it.

I hope so! I really do. I said my apologies. She wants me to look to the future. I will try that. I hope we have a bit of good times still left.
I know it is magical thinking, but i hope if Im more kind to her, she will have less stress and the cancer will magically go away. I know it is weird and nonsensical… But i still hope so.

I did. My own father was physically, emotionally and sexually abusive throughout my childhood and adolescence.
When I was 45, he had triple bypass surgery and he called me to apologize for all of his abuse of me before going in to his surgery. (He thought he was going to die). I forgave him then.
We were friends after that. He lived only one year longer. We were good friends for that one last year. (We were bitter enemies before that.) (I had hated him at least).
