District 9 is amazing. Thereā€™s also a movie called the void on prime I think. More cosmic horror than sci-fi but definitely a lot of fun.

I also really enjoyed The Void. Great creepy Lovecraft vibes to it.

I bought it on bluray because it was dirt cheap and I didnā€™t have many streaming services back then.
