Yeah! I feel the same. It was much better than what I expected going into it.
The ending did feel a little open ended.
They might’ve made it feel that way for a sequel.

I can’t remember it very well but I read it about 10 years ago and remembered liking it.
I hope so. I thought Odessa A’zion was great in it. Would like to see more with her as the lead.

Here’s a weird one if you can tolerate subtitles. “City of lost children”. It’s an incredibly strange movie. Also “Dark city” another weird one.

This was a very underrated movie. It got good reviews when it came out but it was soon forgotten. I had to watch it for my English class and was surprised at how good it was.

Try ZARDOZ. An old sci Fi movie starring Sean Connery. He also make a sci Fi movie about mining on a moon, I think it was called MOONRAKER. it has the plot of an old western called HIGH NOON and critics called it HIGH MOON.
Can you find that on YouTube? My dad loves sci-if and Sean Connery too.
