My eyes won’t stop running, I’m constantly sweating and worse of all I’m craving caffeine and its 10 PM.

Maybe you’re sensitive to caffeine. Maybe I would get better if I quit the energy drinks. Despite what people say, I think they are poison. I’ve been drinking 4+ a day for years.
You’re definetly right about the sensitivity.
I used to drink it like it was water, but after my DX I became sensitive to it.

Is anyone on here an ex-caffeine drinker? How do you feel like without having caffeine in your life?Has abstinence improved your symptoms?
I am ex caffeine drinker I use to drink tea all the time but since my insomnia kicked in I am caffiene free for a year now it feels ok just wished sometime I would feel more refresed with tea
I went sugar free and caffeine free the decade of the 80’s, then got back into them. It was intoxicating getting back into sugar and caffeine, but eventually the personal cost was too great. I’m caffeine free a few years now, but this time I let myself eat chocolate,
I’m free of alcohol and all illegal drugs for like 40 years. Then, I got into Casino gambling. When will it all end?
Caffeine is alright in moderation; but having more than a cokes worth a day daily makes my symptoms much worse. It’s most common side effects are paranoia, increased heartbeat, and can cause dehydration which makes my symptoms way worse. I feel much better without. Although drinking the amount I used to (a pot of extremely strong black coffee a day and Im only 120lbs) made me feel so disassociated that the symptoms completely went away and was replaced with a different type of delusion where you can’t think straight or ponder a topic very long

I used to love caffeine but it helped push me over the edge so I don’t touch it any more.
Ermahgerd, I can’t drink energy drinks. Do yourself a favor and drink literally anything except energy drinks. Can be more physically debilitating than alcohol. If you take nothing else from this thread, please remember my plea for you to not drink another ever again. I don’t know you from Adam, but energy drinks are literally poison in a bottle. Could remove car paint with some of them.
i only drink one cup of coffee per week and i’m busy so its OK. But if I have a green tea somewhere along the line then I start to feel unstable during the day but It can get out of hand. Its hard to remember things that are not good for you and just do them anyway. I do feel better though without the two cups of coffee a day.
I gave up caffeine when I figured out it made me agitated and psychotic. I’ve learned that getting a good sleep schedule is my best bet for energy now, even though I miss energy drinks immensely.
I had a natural suspicion of energy drinks. I think caffeine is like alcohol in that it is dehydrating.

If you keep going you will develop a tolerance, and you will need three red bulls to get out of bed. There was a time in my life where the first thing I did when I got up was take 40 mini thins and drink five cups of coffee. Then I would drink five more during the day.
When I was about seven I drank a 16 oz. coke before going to bed, and I’ve had terrible insomnia ever since.
