I’m on my 4th cup of coffee. Today
I’m pretty sure you can get headaches from consuming less caffeine.
I need caffeine for alertness. Nothing else has worked for me. Its why i dont think i can ever not rely on it, it also makes me physically stronger
But do those headaches go away eventually?
Yea it really helps me too. Without it I wouldn’t be able to work right now.
I would assume they would. Sorry I’m no expert.
That’s okay. Thanks Graybear
Hand reaching from dumpster “I wish I never started with that first cup of Folgers.”
LOL Sorry. Just making fun of 80s anti drug commercials.
Coffee has potassium in it; an essential ingredient to good health. Too much coffee can result in high potassium which causes kidney damage; not enough where symptoms are visible just a little at a time.
I’m thinking of quitting coffee cold turkey on August 1st to see if I can sleep better at night and feel better during the day. I’ve been drinking coffee every day for the past 13 years except for a few times when I couldn’t get any.
I used to drink three or four cups a day. Then I got tired of trying to convince myself that it tasted good so I quit. I’ve only had one or two cups of coffee in the past ten years
Ive never quit. I feel as though it would be a positive thing to do. We were told at day treatment that caffeine makes the fight or flight “switch” easier to flip.
Coffee stopped having an effect on me so I have cut down a lot. It might be because I drink only instant.
How many cups per day?
Wow that’s what I need to hear. It’s achievable!
Well unless u replaced it with caffeinated fizzy drinks?
Yea I think instant is not as effective, from my experience
About a year ago I quit coffee cold Turkey. Had a headache for a day or two besides that little withdrawals. After a month or 2 I started again.
Back to drinking loads of coffee again.
Might try to stop one day…
I’ve never been a coffee drinker
I drink occasionally but not addicted to it. I have milk with some beverage without sugar. It is helping me in terms of being active and keep my mind at ease.
