Really happy with Cymbalta

Normally this time of year I take a turn for the worse. There’s a seasonal aspect to what goes on with me, I’ve never been diagnosed with SAD but it’s sort of like that. It normally starts pretty abruptly in October and just gets worse to the point that I can’t function. Here it is November and I don’t feel much different. I really feel that it’s because of the 120 mgs of Cymbalta that I’m taking. I’m hoping to avoid the worst of the seasonal depression this year and keep my head above water, it would be so nice. The only problem is that if I do start to feel depressed I’m already maxed so there’s little to be done as far as medicine goes. But there’s therapy, exercise, meditation, and just taking care of myself that can help.

Cymbalta is a great medicine for some and id recommend it to many. Only issue i had was it made me manic but man do i miss that rn

Oh no, that’s awful.

That’s rare from what I understand. I was specifically put on Cymbalta because mania was unlikely since I kept going manic on everything else. I’m maxed with no signs of mania all summer and I was so happy about that.

I have found that vitamin D3 has helped me with my seasonal low mood

Good morning my foliage friend! I’m glad to hear the med is helping you.

Here’s hoping the SAD doesn’t happen. Cheers!

Be safe out there.

Yeah, it’s pretty rare. Luckily it was just that I turned into a tomato, not swelling throat reaction.

They are not positive if it was the dye or the med

I had a vit d deficiency for a really long time. I had to take a lot of vit d3 to fix the deficiency.

I’m going to fight for a good one, feeling strong today, few symptoms not counting.

You too!
