My husband is going to speak to mh tomorrow. I really want to go to parents house but hubby says things will be a lot better tomorrow

Ive not gone to my parents yet. Hubby sat with me now. Feel depressed want mh to give me some pills for godsake? Tomorrow seeing the mh and gp

I just got out of the hospital for being suicidal. All they did for me was increase my antidepressant and take my gun away. Thereā€™s not a lot they can do for depression here, they donā€™t even have ECT here anymore. I feel for you. I hope your MH team can help you tomorrow. Donā€™t feel ashamed if you need to go to your parentā€™s for your safety.

Depression will be with you wherever you go until itā€™s treated. If your husband is supportive, going to your parents wonā€™t necessarily be better.

Iā€™m glad heā€™s speaking to mh. You need treatment, not necessarily a change in address and people

Ive just woken up at 5am @WhiteRaven im sorry youve been struggling with suicidal thoughts too. Sometimes a change of scenery like staying in hospital can help temporarily lift your mood a bit. I used to go stay in psych hospitals but its all changed now and they dont really admit me anymore no beds

I asked them to send me to Seattle for ECT but the requirements for an escort were too stringent. So, i asked to go home today cuz i told them since Iā€™m eating and drinking again thereā€™s nothing more they can do for me. Depression sucks so bad, it never seems like itā€™ll get better, but Iā€™m really hoping it willā€¦

We saw mh first thing this morning and luckily the pdoc was there too. Shes prescribed me Prozac/fluoxetine. I went straight to chemist and took one, yay!!!

Gp has referred me for an xray for knee and ive been awake since 5am. Im so relieved. But i know the ADs take a couple of weeks to work im staying on them , no more wishy washy about taking them cos its serious getting depressed & suicidal.
