My book by Isaac Asimov is superb and thrilling, especially because it was written so long ago. futuristic minds…yayyyy…love to read…I still read only about four pages per setting but I read about ten times a day now…so that’s forty pages a day…much better pace. overall.

It was tremendous to rediscover the golden age of science fiction. Arthur C. Clark, and Ray Bradbury were two exceptional authors. Lets not forget the contributions like One Flew Over The Cookoo’s Nest.
Ken Kesey was a very well versed writer. It’s difficult to admit that some fictions are a strain on the mind.
There are some weird TV and best seller grooves happening. But before these there was H.G. Welles, and H.P. Lovecraft.
For Christmas I’m going to get the nonfiction book A HISTORY OF THE MANDOLIN.
Well done. Getting back into reading has been good for me. I’ve noticed a bit better concentration and focus from reading regularly. You can only win by reading.
I’ve been trying to enjoy reading as an adult since 1995. Perhaps I should have given up long ago but for some reason I didn’t, but now it’s finally paid off and now I really enjoy reading since my medication change. I’m currently going through all the Alice Oseman books after enjoying the Heartstopper comics. I really like them.
After my psychotic break about 5 or 6 years ago I couldn’t read more than shoet posts or articles online. No books. Then about 2 uears ago the ability to lose myself in a book came back. Before the break I could read a typical novel in a night. Now i can do that with a short one and a regular takes 2
I used to go to the library and check books out. But I haven’t been to the library since before Covid.
I am not the reader I used to be. I didn’t lose interest but now I love nonfiction books and stuff.
I chewed up Goosebumps books as a kid though. Totally loved them. And Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark…creppy ass dope right there for a nine year old.
