What do you think is the hardest part? I’ve been thinking about quitting, mostly because i have no cash to keep the habit up. I’ve been tapering off slowly these past few days, down to 5 a day. Before that i was smoking a pack a day.
I’m gonna miss it thats for sure, right now im smoking a really crappy off brand smoke and wondering if its even worth it.
the hardest part for me. was accepting the boredom. i had lots of breaks for cigarettes when i smoked and then when i quit i had more time to do nothing. smoking would get me outside more often. i would smoke and watch the cars go by on my porch.
12 years since i quit. İt s not hard. İ used to have one word. Whenever i remember to smoking i used to say that word. İt s weird way quiting addiction but it has worked.some people use chewing gum instead of word.
Congratulations. Quitting smoking is the best thing you can do for your health. While a challenge, millions have quit. The most important factor is a strong desire to stop. The most difficult thing is drug dependence on nicotine which can be overcome by cutting slowly over time or by substituting nicotine gum or patch, etc.
Methods for quitting smoking include cold turkey, placing your daily allotment of cigarettes into a plastic bag and cutting down by just one a day, nicotine patches, nicotine gum and electronic cigarettes. Good luck.
