It’s not just about skipping that day’s cigarettes or the next, it’s about never smoking another one your entire life. It’s not easy. It’s worth it tho imo

You cant believe everything you hear. But one of my workers told me 1 cigarette takes off 9 mins of your life. Thats pretty scary

We won’t have the answers you are looking for.

There are people out there who just don’t smoke and never have the cravings and some who are hopelessly addicted and everything in between.

If I were to draw into aperant facts, there is 7 billion or so people on the planet and not not a single one is exactly the same as the other.

Point being if you don’t know what works for you, nobody else is going to either

Some people think there is a certain thing they can do to quit, maybe health reasons a person smokes. A perfectly healthy individual can be a smoker and there can be a 500 pound person who has never smoked.

It’s individual. All I’m saying.

To paraphrase Mark Twain…

“Quitting smoking is easy. I’ve done it numerous times.”

Quitting smoking isn’t impossible.

The hardest part is convincing yourself you don’t want to smoke anymore. This is where I fail too.

Because deep inside I enjoy smoking.

If they took me somewhere safe, far from any tobacco shops, and kept me there for a couple of months, that would do the trick. I could muster enough resolve to stay away from cigs.

The hardest part about quitting smoking is that it’s not just an addiction, but also a habit. I always recommend using a nicotine substitute so you can focus on breaking the habit first. Pouches, patches, lozenges, and gum have their pros and cons. I used the gum but it jacked up my jaw from chewing so much.
