Quitting caffeine tomorrow

I’m prepared to go through withdrawals. I feel like this is something I must do. I got enough anxiety and caffeine is fuel on the fire.

I think I’m doing it cold turkey, just to get it over with.

I quit caffeine about 6 weeks ago. I used to have like 500-800mg caffeine daily. But i take a different stimulant now instead so thats why I quit.

I see. What stimulant are you taking now instead?

I think btw that I don’t want to quit cold turkey, it’s not worth t. But in my experience the worst withdrawal comes when you go from just a little bit to zero.

I think you’ll do fine most likely. I have way too much coffee for a few weeks at a time and then quit cold turkey. Worst thing I ever got are headaches.

The way I see it is coffee will work better when I need it if I take those tolerance breaks when I don’t lol.

i want to quit caffeine also, but the migraines are demotivating after just 1 day without it. ive found the best thing for me at the moment is just limiting my caffeine to a very small amount once a day. i stopped energy drinks and coffee which made my consumption like 300-500mg a day. now i just take an 100mg capsule each morning and drink water throughout the day which makes me feel better

I recently reduced my coffee intake.
Feels good.

I had a pot today, but haven’t drunken any since mid day. I’ve been off caffeine literally for no longer than two consecutive days in almost 20 years. Those two days though I was more chilled. I always end up on it. I think for me only in the mornings would be a good compromise.

I drink less beer but more caffeine but mix it up between coffee and tea. Tea is good in a hot climate and I’m actually enjoying having a few more coffees in the day. Learned that unsweetened almond milk isn’t bad for keto so it’s nice after 5 months of no sugar or milk in instant coffee to have a treat.

I have decided that I can’t get myself to do it cold turkey, so I will weight the instant coffee I’m drinking and slowly reduce the grams.

Maybe try a black tea? It has l theanine in it which is suppose to counteract anxiety from caffeine

Afternoon coffee used to interfere with my sleep. Now I only have one cup in the morning. I will never quit coffee.
