Quit my job today

I woke up really sad again plus it’s just like stage fright from everybody “watching” me. I was delivering pizzas but it was stressful. And I kept messing up. I was on top of the world two or three weeks ago but not really, it’s just an illusion. Now I am sad because I am stupider than I was or just not as good at things. I have been on disability but I wanted to make more money for cigs and stuff. But it’s too hard. I want s job where they don’t yell at you. I gues should I just be a writer?

Not a proofreader/editor apparently! When i feel bad I rarely spell check

I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling so lousy. I had to quit my job a week ago; it was overwhelming me. Do you think you could find something else? Some grocery stores still hire people to bag groceries. I’ve done it. It’s simple, easy, low stress … maybe a good fit. It would be something you could do just part-time, just enough to have a little extra money in your pocket.

No im pretty embarrassed even about being a lowly pizza delivery boy. I’m not saying I’m too good for the job, I used to do it when I was younger, but I don’t really want to be the disabled guy bagging groceries. Rather just stay home.

Fair enough. Try to keep an open mind, and keep your eyes peeled for available jobs that may interest you more. Temp agencies can be a good place to start. I understand not wanting to bag groceries. I’m most likely going to end up working in a gas station or convenience store for a while. I don’t have disability income. That job feels beneath me, especially given my education, but sometimes you just do what you gotta do, I guess. Best of luck to you; I hope you find something that suits you better, something you can do with your head held high.

I am sorry @toughluck33 but I would eagerly take almost every job apart from being a sex slave or something endangering my health I can’t work unfortunately

im sorry man but that job is stressful. About 10 years ago i got a job for Dominos and they make u learn how to take orders over the phone and at the counter before they let u actually deliver pizzas. I lasted literally one day and i was so stressed i never went back. I got ssi after than any a million other failed attempts at work.

Yeah true. I’m trying to stay optimistic (delusionally). I’m just gonna hope to make it as a musician or writer or something, inventor. Lucky to have good support and disability and some insight. Damn my impulsivity/adventurousness. Or not. Idk.

Ya I’m not very good at it. I’ve tried going through programs but they stress me out and I’m really pretty defiant. Well sometimes. Idk I’ll just keep trying. Work is overrated though, so is money.

Thats whaere i worked. be glad you didnt make it. I never had to take food orders. starrtrd driving right away. That is wjen i learned how dangerous it is.

I got mugged but i was lucky compaired to others. One guy was sotting in his car , window down. Some criminal walked up and threw a cup of battery acid on him to rob him.
Another guy got robbed via a skate board to the face, broken nose, blood evrrywhere.

The companies idea to “help” is to come up with reasons to fire a driver the week after amy robbery. cuys down on company getting sued, or losing if goes to court. Yes they send drivers to very bad streets.

This was a blessing in disguise for you.

Nice post!!! 151515151515

I never order delivery pizza, simply because I feel bad making the driver come into my neighborhood. I always end up settling for either Little Caesars or making a frozen pizza.
