Question for everybody or anybody

Just out of curiosity. How many liberals do we have here and how many conservatives? I assume that people in other countries also consider themselves one or the other.

I’ve been told I’m conservative on economic issues and liberal on social issues.

Im a socialist

Heath care, high minimum wage, free university, nice public places, strict laws, gay rights, no religion.

Im talking about Scandinavian nations or the nation I will start when they grant me my right by birth to rule all schizophrenics. Jk

I’ll take the good stuff, but I don’t want to be ruled by a king.

I take on a middle of the road approach (Moderate) I consider myself to be a democrat - havent voted in a while though

I do all my voting by mail. No crowded polls for me. They mail me a ballot for every election and I fill it out at my leisure in my home and mail it back in the envelope they provide.

I’m a liberal close to Socialist like @mortimermouse. You’ll find me campaigning this year, if school doesn’t get in the way.

I did two random quizzes online on Liberal vs conservatives, and not surprisingly both came out as me being a strong Liberal. I vote mostly democratic because I can’t stand a lot of our republican candidates.

Hmm … I am scratching my head and wondering if this could be an option for me. I wonder if my state allows for this kind of voting to occur

I’m a liberal and our state has mail in ballots so I vote liberal a lot as well.

I’m a socialist. In my country the government is currently social democratic. The opposition can be compared to the liberals in the US.

@Wave, usually when you get your driver license they ask you if you want ballot by mail? I think that’s how it works…

I am very non partisan…they all suck.

I’m a vote em’ out kind. I think if a dem is in then the next ballot a rep should win to even things out, and vice versa.

I can be very liberal…I can be a tad bit libertarian minded…with a dash of anarchism…

I’m more and more disillusioned with politics as time goes on though…voted for Nader at 18 out of spite for the system…got some hell from my democrat friends for that. I just don’t like politicians very much…they irk me.

But I am on the whole a liberal when it comes to most issues. Not your average liberal…but a liberal. I sympathize with the left but also hold my concepts of freedom dearly. I do not feel as though I live in a “free country” …it may seem that way to some but not me.

i’m a socialist. i live in the states now because my husband is american. many things about politics here confuse me because seem quite contradictory and i don’t know how “liberal” and “conservative”, what those words really mean in this context, but i could tell you what i think about social concerns and personal freedoms. i try to avoid speaking about politics and getting involved with nationalism though.
