I am just sitting outside and thinking…
About tattoos.
I really love tattoos.
I would never undergo plastic surgery ((I gave myself a word)), but there’s idea to have more than 5 tattoos on my body
Am I crazy?
Do people will dislike me?
I am not going to tattoo my face or tattoo something which I cannot hide.
But still, what I fear the most is… how the society will react to me.
To be very honest - I want way more tattoos than I have now. Now I have 2. Not saying I want my all body tattooed, but… atleast more 3 tattoos, max 6 more tattoos.
What’s your opinion about this?
There’s nothing wrong with tattoos but in some parts of the world I think it might be looked down on. I don’t know if that’s the case where you live.
Tats are kind of a class identifier where I live. The more you have the lower you are. You won’t find yourself employed in certain places if you have too many visible tats. Facial tats or excess visible head piercings renders you unemployable outside of the service industry.
Well… Older generation definitely dislike tattoos here. But most people my age are very accepting of tattoos
It’s strange literally strange… Tattoos shouldn’t define such things
If you love tattoos and self expression.
Yes a thing you do for yourself.
It comes with judgment that depends on the tattoo where they are place it’s message meanings and or artistry
Some may see your intentions and appreciate them while others won’t.
I have been thinking of getting tattoos to cover up my massive self harm scars on my arms.
but now that I think about it, I don’t want to lose my scars…
even when it would make my life much easier and more pleasant,
I get so much negative attention on my scars. comments and looks, and I do not wish to have them.
but I fear the pain of tattoos!
I have friends who have very many tattoos and they work and live just a normal happy life.
I don’t think tattoos are so frowned upon anymore.
so go for it!
good luck
I’m not a fan of them, but wouldn’t not hire a person for having them except if they had them on their face. That shows such a profound lack of judgement that I would not want that person in a role where I had to rely on them.
As a tattooed man I have to say I regret it. I got them in my youth when I was often manic and generally foolish, didn’t think about the consequences, would like to get them all removed but there are expenses involved. If I ever have a little money I’ll be getting them removed.
But you may have a different experience and I don’t want to quell your fun. Do whatever you want! fac ut vult
I have 6 tattoos @anon8411913
Same here @FreeLunch
I was young and manic
I don’t regret any of my tattoos
Got them over a period of about 10 years
Agree with @shutterbug do not get them on your face or neck
At work I do not show them off
Don’t have tattoos, never liked tattoos.
Nothing wrong with having them, as long as they’re not too visible.
I have quite a few tats. All of them are home jobs. I got most as a teenager. My mate got a tattoo gun online and we were dumb about it. I regret most of them. I did a few on myself when i was half psychotic and drunk. Not a good idea haha.
And i dont think I’ll be able to afford lazer removal any time soon.
I have plenty of tattoos and want many more.
I want a full sleeve on one arm.
My x was a tattooist who had his own studio .
Stunning man inside and out.
Tattoos all over his body , beard and hair down to his bum.
My kinda guy.🪭
He also has only place I felt home a house out country and he had pretty perfect dogs.
I left him to go vegan to be true to myself and my morals .
I left a happy peaceful home.
I miss it.
You shouldn’t care what others think of it just what you think of it.
Depends on where you’re from. People can and will judge you for them. In the US people usually don’t care if you have them. Employers are loosening their restrictions on tattoos as well. I know in other countries they are not as accepted, like Japan.
It inspired me to think less on what others think of me,
Thanks @Truemist8
I have a lot of tattoos. I’m getting another soon. And soon after that I’m starting on a full sleeve. I love tattoos though and always have, I have a few that I kind of regret because of the quality but I’m getting them redone in the future. I think you have to decide for yourself more than anything. My family hated tattoos but I got them anyway and they look down on it, k don’t really care anymore, this is my life and my body.
My brother has prison tats on his arms but I don’t think it’s attractive on men or women.
I must be hungry. I read “tacos” lol
