Seems like it is an effective med for helping lose weight. Has anyone tried it before? How did it or does it work for you?
It looks tempting, but the problem is that it is classified as a stimulant. I’m guessing it’s not as stimulating as something like Adderall or Ritalin. I could be wrong though. I have taken Wellbutrin before with decent results and I know that has stimulant qualities.
Is this stuff worth a shot? My doc has been trying to get a GLP-1 prescribed for me, but Medicare doesn’t cover those unless you are diabetic or have coronary disease. That may be changing in February depending on what the new administration decides, but I feel it’s good to look into alternatives at this point.
i never tried it but i looked it up and one of the medicines in it is toparimate (topamax). i used to take topamax and it made me never want to eat. i was super skinny while i was on it.
I take the lowest dose of Mounjaro. My insurance covers it cuz my blood glucose tolerance test says I’m diabetic even tho my hemoglobin A1c is normal. It helped me lose 145 lbs along with diet and exercise. I also deal with an eating disorder so my physician is really careful about checking in with me regularly. I like how the Mounjaro helps me feel full longer.
