Ok, so I know this is SZ .com however I was wondering if anyone else here was/is diagnosed with psychotic depression? I am.
I signed up bc there’s really no other site for people with other psychotic disorders, hope that’s ok!
I’m on Effexor 300 mg and Haldol 5 mg, as well as Ritalin 10 mg twice a day (for ADHD).

Many people with schizophrenia experience at least some depression. It is part of the illness.

I started with psychotic depression when I was 17/18, then after a few years of no symptoms I went off my meds and spent the next year in the hospital diagnosed with sz.
My diagnosis is SZA/bipolar but I have gotten psychotic when depressed before.
