How often do u see the shrink?
Me once a year but I’d like to see him soon to discuss increase dose. Find that they sometimes try to avoid giving u an appointment
I don’t like my pdoc at all. But I do like seeing my CPN (community psychiatric nurse). He is such a nice guy, a natural therapist whoo I look forward to seeing every 2 weeks or 4.
Wow @shellys12 - once a year to see the pdoc is a long time! Doesn’t your insurance plan allow for more frequent visits?
I see my pdoc once a month
I see mine once every six months. I see my social worker usually every 4 weeks. I don’t have insurance.
I see my current doc once a month as I just started with him this past summer. I have insurance but they hate my guts 
I see my pdoc every 2 months. I would like to see her more often but she thinks it is not necessary. I see her again december 19th and I cant wait I have a lot I want to talk to her about.

I see my pdoc about once a month and my therapist about once every three weeks more or less… more in winter… less in summer.

I can proudly say that I now see my pdoc every 6 weeks. It took 2 years to work up to that. At first when I was in crisis it was every 2 weeks, then once a month.

I see my pdoc every 4 weeks, but he mostly just checks in, adjusts my meds, and is done. I also see a therapist once every 4 weeks, we go into more detail than the pdoc.
