I’m too inconsistent. I just can’t handle clocking in every day while hearing voices and not sleeping.
I’m wondering if I want to keep at it.
Unfortunately because it was really helping my self esteem

I’d let your manager know what’s going on. At my old job my boss helped me out a lot.
I keep calling in sick because of insomnia and voices. They think I have a cold. … I reached out to the disability specialist there or whatever they’re called. Case manager or something
Maybe talk with your pdoc about the voices.
Had the same problem without the voices. I quit before i got fired.
I have he want to lift my Abilify level and I refuse because I already have insomnia and akathisia
I think, if you want to work, sleeplessness and specially voices are just too much for anyone to handle.
I would suggest to change the medication until you can function properly in a workplace.
I think it’s a one or the other type of thing.
What about consider disclosing and request accommodations.
More flexible or reduced work hours. Hope your case manager can help with this.
I’m sorry, @FreeLunch. I am very inconsistent, too. One day I’m fine, two days I’m not, and so on. I really hope you’re able to work things out.
Hey, I really think you should try to continue, but I also don’t want you to be miserable… I think you should talk with them there, see if there are other options.
Beginning dialogue with the disability case manager
I’m sorry you are having work troubles. I hope the case worker can help you with getting things sorted. There has to be some accommodations that they can help you with I’d think.
I spoke with my case manager and she was like it’s totally cool if you’re struggling you know etc. she can cover for me to some extent with respect to absences.
I need to calm down with respect to the job. Anyway I start work again on Monday.
Can you use headphone or earbuds in one ear to listen to background music to distract from voices? Then just gotta figure out how to get some better sleep
Lol that might work
It would be so deeply confusing to truly attempt that lol
I ended up hearing hidden messages in instrumental music

Well, they would probably rather work out something with you rather then go through the trouble and hassle of finding someone to replace you and then having to train a new person. Do you have a Human Resources department at your job? That’s who you would go to with problems with work and they might give you better hours or more days off.
