Has anyone else been prescribed Pregabalin alongside their anti pyschotics? It says online it affects the brain in a simlar way to benzos which always used to help me. I am wondering how they worked for you?

Yep I am on it along side of APs. Helps me some.
I don’t know your personal situation but I would be cautious if you have ever had substance abuse problems. Not at all saying you would, but here in the uk it is increasingly being used as a recreational drug.
I think in prescribed doses it is generally safe but folk here are dying from poly drug overdoses and often pregabalin is involved.

I’m glad i managed to stop it without too many withdrawals, i heard a lot of people find it hard to stop it.

Wow, thanks for letting me know about that. I haven’t had any substance abuse issues before. I was feeling hopeful that it might help me. I’m on the max dose of olanzapine but still get anxious when I go places on my own because I worry people are in on some kind of experiment being done to me. The plan was to try this drug, and if still feel anxious look at changing to risperidone.
