Uhhhh, no, take it from a guy that has been lifting and exercising since age 11. Pre-workouts are extremely beneficial simply because of other ingredients that co-occur to boost your energy, and muscle synthesis. Take creatine, for example, it is a very popular supplement as of late because it is very advantageous to the building of muscle, and your energy so you can exhort more muscle resistance, which leads to muscle breakdown, etc. I think often times it may not help as much because they don’t put enough in it, trying to sell you a product that has a particular ingredient, but is not high enough of a dose to prove beneficial. Most pre-workouts I have tried have helped considerably, even compared to something that has more caffeine, but lacking sufficient doses or not having an ingredient at all. 5mg of creatine a day is very helpful, but you can often find benefits even lower; it also depends on the weight of the individual.

I thought preworkouts don’t have creatine. Doesn’t creatine fill muscles with water and increase weight?

Oh I just read water retention only happens during the loading phase of creatine when you take lots of creatine.

My pre-workout has creatine, but not enough for a loading phase. You gotta get a separate creatine supplement for that.

I haven’t exercised in a long time. I used to take creatine and preworkout, also whey protein. Now I just take caffeine and whey protein as I don’t exercise. Also afraid that some ingredients in some preworkouts interact with meds or sz as some have herbal extracts that I never heard of.

Yeah, I use to take c4 but now I do PreJym or Mr. Hyde. There’s another one I bought, but it’s not as effective, so I only take it to get some caffeine.

I used to use creatine and I’d take a good dose of it. Man did it ever make a difference. You could jack more and you’d recover so much faster.

Is creative allowed in professional athletes? I mean like would it pass an Olympic doping test? Just cos I heard it is very effective

I used to take glutamine and creatine.
I also tried Anavar , which was probably actually dbol. Oh yeah I got strong lolz

Creatine is allowed in many sports. It’s not very effective. It’s slightly effective. Initially you get a large boost in muscle size, mostly due to water retention, then you continue to get a slight boost to strength for a while until it tapers off. There are not many long-term studies on creatine and it is unknown whether it has any effect in the long-term. It is mostly only effective for young men. Studies on older people show little to no effect on strength. Most people recommend cycling the use of creatine, in the hopes of avoiding a total loss of effectiveness. I have taken creatine and eventually decided it was a waste of money.

Placebo is also a problem with workout supplements, just like with meds and other supplements. Creatine is one of the only legal supplements that has known effects.
